Porter Family History
Web Developer Note: Researching this murder and manhunt, I recall the stories I heard in Patten about Wesley Porter always mentioned what a kind and gentle man he was. He had a shy little grin, and would always go out of his way to help a friend. He was a potato farmer by trade, but loved to hunt and fish, and loved his playground of the Maine outdoors. Growing up in Patten, I rode on the schoolbus with Wesley's grandaughter Rae Porter.
